Editorial Policy

    Last updated: 1 November 2026

CoinHours publishes real-time cryptocurrency market data, daily Signals analysis, and a long-form Learn encyclopedia. This page documents how that content is produced, reviewed and corrected so readers — and regulators — can assess the credibility of what we publish.

    Sourcing & accuracy

    • Every price, market-cap, dominance and on-chain figure on CoinHours is sourced from a named third-party provider — primarily CoinGecko, Alternative.me, and the underlying blockchains.
    • Editorial articles anchor every quantitative claim to a structured data snapshot captured at the time of writing. An automated fact-checking stage flags any statistic that is not present in that snapshot before publication.
    • Australian tax framing follows current Australian Taxation Office (ATO) guidance. Readers are always referred to a registered tax agent for personal advice.

    AI assistance disclosure

CoinHours editorial articles (daily Signals, Learn encyclopedia entries, and news digests) are produced with assistance from Anthropic's Claude language model and reviewed by the editor before publication. Hero imagery is generated via Replicate.

AI is used as a drafting and summarisation tool only. Every generated article is anchored to live market data, validated against that data context, and is the responsibility of the named editor below. Live price widgets, charts, and aggregated news headlines are not AI-generated.

    Editor & ownership

CoinHours is independently published and edited by Twin, a Sydney-based researcher who also runs Australian Property Forum, World Property Forum and REAStats. Final editorial responsibility rests with the editor; AI tooling does not have publish authority.

Corrections, complaints & conflicts of interest

    • Corrections: if you spot a factual error, email AustralianPropertyForum@gmail.com. Substantive corrections are noted at the foot of the article with the date of the change.
    • Affiliate relationships: CoinHours earns referral commissions from links to Binance, Coinbase, Koinly, Ledger, NordVPN, NordPass and BullionVault. These links are marked rel="sponsored" and disclosed in-page. Commissions do not influence editorial selection or ranking — see our full affiliate disclosure.
    • No personal financial advice: nothing on CoinHours constitutes personal financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Cryptocurrency is volatile and you can lose your entire investment.
